Return, Exchange & Prescription Guarantee Policy
At Musiu Optics, we are committed to delivering high-quality eyewear manufactured with precision and care. Every pair of prescription lenses is custom-made according to the prescription and specifications provided by our customers.
Our goal is to ensure transparency, product quality, and a reliable shopping experience.
1. Prescription Accuracy Guarantee
Musiu Optics guarantees that prescription lenses are manufactured according to the prescription submitted and confirmed at the time of purchase, within applicable optical manufacturing tolerances.
Our guarantee covers:
* Prescription accuracy
* Lens material and selected treatments
* Optical centration and required fitting measurements
* Proper lens installation and mounting
If a manufacturing error attributable to Musiu Optics is identified, we will correct or replace the affected lenses at no additional cost to the customer.
2. Custom-Made Prescription Lenses
Prescription lenses are individually manufactured according to each customer’s unique visual requirements.
Due to their personalized nature, prescription lenses are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns or refunds based solely on changes of mind, personal preferences, or dissatisfaction unrelated to a product defect, except where required by applicable law.
This policy does not affect the customer’s legal rights concerning defective products, manufacturing errors, or products that do not match the specifications ordered.
3. Vision Adaptation and Comfort
Adjusting to a new prescription, lens design, or optical technology may require an adaptation period.
Customers experiencing visual discomfort or adaptation difficulties should contact Musiu Optics within 30 calendar days of receiving their order.
Our team will review the manufacturing specifications and, when appropriate, recommend consulting the prescribing eye care professional.
While Musiu Optics guarantees that lenses are manufactured according to the prescription provided, we cannot guarantee individual visual adaptation or the clinical accuracy of a prescription issued by a third-party eye care professional.
Any verified manufacturing, optical centration, or fitting error attributable to Musiu Optics will be addressed under our product guarantee.
4. Prescription Changes
Musiu Optics is not responsible for changes or corrections made by an eye care professional to the original prescription after the lenses have been manufactured.
If a new prescription is issued after production, replacement lenses may be offered at a preferred price, subject to individual evaluation.
5. Non-Prescription Frames and Accessories
Standard frames and accessories purchased without customized prescription lenses may be returned or exchanged within 14 calendar days of delivery, provided that:
* The products are unused and in their original condition.
* There are no scratches, damage, or alterations.
* All original accessories and packaging are included.
Products received defective or not as ordered remain eligible for the remedies required under applicable consumer protection laws.
6. Order Cancellation
Orders containing customized prescription lenses may be canceled before manufacturing begins, subject to the refund conditions disclosed at checkout and applicable law.
Once the manufacturing process has started, customized orders cannot be canceled due to a change of mind, except where required by applicable law.
7. Return Requests and Shipping Costs
To request a return, exchange, or warranty evaluation, customers must contact Musiu Optics through info@musiuoptics.com
Please provide:
* Order number
* Description of the issue
* Supporting photographs or documentation, when applicable
Our team will provide the appropriate instructions and return shipping address based on the country of purchase.
When a return or replacement is required due to a verified error attributable to Musiu Optics, we will cover reasonable shipping expenses necessary to resolve the issue.
For approved voluntary returns, shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise required by law.
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method, when available and legally permitted, within the communicated timeframe and in accordance with applicable regulations.
8. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, or remedies available under the laws applicable to the customer’s purchase.
In the event of a conflict between this policy and applicable consumer protection laws, the applicable legal requirements will prevail.
